Welcome to the Morton-Richardson Post 128 website! We have been serving Chattahoochee, Stewart, & Webster County veterans in Southwest Georgia since 1920.
Our Post has evolved over the years to what it is now. From a small building located in our beautiful city park and beside the outdoor pavilion; eventually the pavilion was enclosed, made into a hall, and handed over to the Post for management. Many community events have taken place, and many happy memories were, and are, still made here.
Home to our annual Craftin' & Carvin' at the Legion Arts & Crafts Fair and Chainsaw Carving Competion, we are striving to be the premier event in Southwest Georgia. Held in our city park, a historic roadside park, amongst towering pine trees, our event showcases the talent of true crafters and artisans.
Today, it is still a place where the community meets for Post and personal functions. Please browse our pages and we hope that you will see a reason to join us in our endeavors to serve our community and why we have SOWEGA Pride!.
